Show Desktop Icon Missing in my Computer
The Showing desktop icon is missing from quick launch toolbar in your windows, in order to use this icon instead of finding any other option to show the desktop or show open windows. It‘s just not at all a problem to restore the desktop icon back to your windows. It is very simple by entering into the "Repair this for me" or "Let me repair it on myself" division. By the name itself you can know what these sections are explaining to us. In order to fix this problem automatically by clicking the fix it for me option. It is also possible by clicking run in the file download dialog box and follow the steps in the fix it wizard.
Repair this for me:
Initially to make sure the show desktop icon is shown in the quick launch toolbar or not. Then you must enable quick launch setting in your windows. This wizard is in English only. You can also have the option of choosing many languages. But however this automatic fix works for all types of windows operating system.
Suppose if you are not using the computer that has the problem and save the fix it solution to a flash drive or any disc. In this section, it allows the system to getting back the icon automatically by use of the internet or you can also find some other way by just clicking the repair option on your control panel. After clicking this you can get back of all necessary icons into yours desktop back ground. This will rectify the trouble of showing desktop icon missing.

This method is used to fix this problem by me in order to restore the show desktop icon. These following steps are helpful to fix these issues:
What you must to do is to create a file in notepad and save it to where show desktop should be.
Step 1: Click the start button then goes to run and type notepad,
Step 2: Press ok and perform copy paste the following lines in it:
[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop
Step 3: You must save as the file with this file name given below and press ok button.
“%appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\Show Desktop.scf “
The other alternative method is:
Step1: Press start button and choose Run.
Step2: Type in "regsvr32 /n /i:U shell32.dll"
Step3: Press on Enter button.
Step4: Restart your System.
These methods are very easy in getting the show desktop icon back to your computer. These methods are helps to solve the problem of showing missing desktop icon which are lost on the desktop background.
