Printer is a device which prints the datas, text, graphics etc. into human readable language (hard copies) from the system connected to it.Drivers are software's which converts the human readable language into machine readable language like an operating system which converts human readable commands to machine codes 0 and so as a Printer Driver is a software which translates the data to be printed into the printer understandable language. Hewlett-Packard (HP) is one of the leading companies which manufacture the printers, scanners and one-in-all devices.

Installing printer drivers needs to follow some necessary general steps, from Start menu, goto settings and then click the HP printers option button, from there click the add printer button and follow the list of instructions page by page, select the proper settings in the installation wizard to install the HP printer driver.

We have to choose always the Generic-Text only printer driver for our printers so that it can help to find whether any printing issues arises is due to the problem of printer driver or not.
The simplest way of checking whether the HP printer driver and the printer is working properly is to test the printing of test page which can be done by following these commands, just double click the HP printer icon and from the menu choose general tab from properties and click the test page print button, which is the common way to find whether the HP printer driver is working properly or not.

To setup network HP printers, which is connected to a WLAN or LAN we need to find the Ip address of the printer first. Then we have to follow these steps,

Click the Ethernet/Network option from the hp setup menu.
Enter the Ip address of the Hp printer in Manual Discovery box from the Show Advanced menu.
Click the next button and follow the instructions to complete the setup.

Some of the usual problems met by printers are paper jam, printer locked up, plugging and turning problems, toner or ink cartridge problems, printer spooler problems (sharing a single printer with multiple systems in the network), connection cord problems and power cord problems. These problems usually be solved the checking whether these criteria are in proper format. The one most important problem to be noticed among these is the printer driver problem, if all these seems non-problematic, then we have to check the HP printer driver, whether it is installed properly, otherwise we have to download the latest software and reinstall which is always available online from the net.
