Computer Support Technician

There are some people who answer and solve any problem that you might face regarding anew software, a new computer or some other sort of techie question. There are also some people who visit your place to offer you computer support to solve your hardware problems and these are the same people who would help you out when you are hunting for new equipment while trying to buy a new computer. The formal name for all such people is computer support technicians but generally in a more colloquial term they are referred to as tech support. To work as a part of technician support is one of the best jobs for an individual who is genuinely interested in the subject of computer science. Initially it might be a very low profile job but one can always improve oneâ€™s future prospects by working hard and diligently.

A good support technical personnel is one who has the capability and expertise to move from any part of a computer such as security to design with equal ease. Further he or she should be handsomely paid while she or he can actually decide which route she wants to take in life. It is relatively a new occupation and people generally start off in their high school days that are students who can take time out from their regular courses and have a thing towards solving computer related issues. They start with assembling and reassembling computer parts and gradually move to the art of formatting. While these kids are the ones who soon get jobs right after completing their course at school they do opt for a vocational course or an associateâ€™s degree in computer science to hone their computer skills. This is because these days organizations do prefer to hire technical support staff with a minimum two years experience. In fact for starts the good jobs have a training period of their own and these training periods can range from one week to one year. Even from there on the thing consists of training to keep oneself up to date about the latest technologies.
