While purchasing any printer the driver software will be provided by the printer company in compact disk. Connect your Bother printer and your personal computer using the cat 5cable. Login your computer and check whether all the cords are connected properly. The printer can be connected to your computer with cables and Bluetooth. The cable connections are made with parallel port and USB port.

Click > start menu > control panel. Then an installation wizard will appear on your computer serene. Select > printer and hardware tab then click “ok”. Then a wizard will appear select. Choose first option > add printer. The add printer option will permit the user with various choice such as “local printer”, “network printer” and “wireless printer”. You can select according to your printer type.
Click the next button present at the bottom of the wizard. Then click> automatically detect to install plug and play printer. Then click “next”. Installation of printer will begin automatically if your computer detects the printer. An error message will appear if your computer unable detects any printer.

Then you use manual setup for installing the printer. Go through the installation wizard. Select > port option then click “next”. Then a screen will be shown which allows you to select up the printer manually. In the first list box select the product name as Brother and select your model no from the second box then click next. A new screen will appear with the printer name or you can change it then click “next”. Then a message will appear as “print the test page” then click “ok”. The test page will print without any trouble. It assures that the Brother Printers drives were installed correctly.
